For the past seven years, I have been part of a youth group called "JACMA" which stands for "YOUNG FRIENDS OF CHRIST AND MARY" (Jóvenes Amigos de Cristo y María). I am a coordinator and during this time I have lived many youth events at the archdiocesan and national level. However, one event, in particular, marked my life. This was the National Youth Day (JNJ, a smaller scale of WYD) in Ecuador, in the city of Manta. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had, the place where the encounter with God was so real, where I felt heard, alive, forgiven, and loved by Jesus. From that encounter, my life changed, I found Jesus in everything and realized that He is always taking care of me and loving me. I would do anything to go back to experiencing an encounter like that during WYD Panama. The success of the Youth is the Joy of God.
