Cultural exchange with pilgrims
From coast to coast, the province of Veraguas is preparing to receive the thousands of pilgrims that have a unique routine full of culture and fraternal union in faith in the Lord, during the Days in the Diocese of Santiago from the 17th to the 21st of January, 2019.
The 16 parishes, the three quasi-parishes, and the three missionary centers that make up the Diocese of Santiago are preparing various activities including: formation, spiritual retreats, youth encounters, economical activities, festivals, fairs, evenings of culture, praise and worship, and many others.
The cultural exchange with the pilgrims from the different nations is one of the many reasons that the people of Veraguas are excited for the next World Youth Day (WYD), so much so that each of the centers that will receive pilgrims are improving themselves in speaking the various languages so that the language barrier will not be an impediment to sharing with their visiting brothers and sisters.
Another way of showing the world the scenic beauties and the variety of culture in the region are the promotional videos, a direct window for the pilgrims so that they can know a part of what they will experience in each of the centers they will visit.
The entire population is joining this great event convened by Pope Francis. Their only mission is to share the faith in the Lord with those who need it and especially to all the youth of the world that come to their small isthmus to live the joy of his Word. See you in Panama!
